Mrs. Lula Bel White

Lula Bel White, age 95, of Benton, KY, died Monday, January 30, 2012, at Lakeway Nursing and Rehab in Benton, KY. She was a member of Benton Church of Christ. Mrs. White was a seamstress.

She also played a key role in the establishment of the Marshall County Exceptional School.

She was the daughter of the late John Haley and the late Lizzie (Crosby) Haley.

She is survived by: sons: Forrest Gale White, Lewisburg, TN; James Thomas White, Benton, KY; brother: Ben Haley, Hardin, KY; Five Grand Children; and One Great-Grand Child.

She was preceded in death by her husband: James White, 1 daughter, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.

Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2012, Travis Terrell officiating.

Interment will follow at Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Collier Funeral Home.
