Betty Jean (Knight) McNeill, age 73, of Paducah, KY, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at her home in Paducah, KY. Born May 8, 1939 in Smithland, KY, she was retired from Food Giant where she worked as an Office Clerk. Ms. McNeill honorably served her country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.

She was the daughter of the late Rollie Knight and the late Flossie Christine (Owen) Knight.

She is survived by: One Son: Larry Rust, wife Marcia, Concord, KY; One Sister: Louise Knight Boone, Gilbertsville, KY; One Brother: James Roy Knight, Fredonia, KY; grandchild: Emily Summers, husband Ryan, Concord, KY; and great grandchild: Rylee Summers, Concord, KY; along with several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.

Graveside Funeral service will be at Lakeview Cemetery at 12:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2012, Rev. Charlie Canup officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Benton, KY.

No visitation is scheduled.
