John E. Castleberry, age 89, of Benton, KY, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Stilley House. He was retired as a store manager for Napa Auto Parts. Mr. Castleberry was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
He was survived by son: Teddy Castleberry, Benton, KY, daughters: Barbara Jennings, Benton, KY, Martha Copeland, Benton, KY; brothers, Clifton Castleberry, Calvert City, KY, J.B. Castleberry, Benton, KY, Kenny Castleberry, Benton, KY; sisters: Josephine Myers, Warren, MI, Anna Castleberry, Benton, KY; grandchildren: Angie Pate, Nickie Castleberry, Scott Jennings, Amy Turner, Daniel Jennings, Stacey Castleberry, Lori Hill; and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Nina Jean (Myers) Castleberry; parents: Curt and Lucretia (Thompson) Castleberry; son: Eddie Castleberry; brothers: Brooks Castleberry, Brian Castleberry, Donald Castleberry; and sister: Lounell Reed.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Collier Funeral Chapel, Mark Mohler officiating.
Interment will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Collier Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the New Bethel Baptist Church, 4045 Mayfield Hwy, Benton, KY 42025.
