Jerry Don Amis, Sr., age 70, of Paducah, KY, died Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY. He was retired from construction where he worked as a welder/carpenter.
He was the son of the late Charles Amis and the late Eula Mae (Howe) Amis Burgess.
He is survived by: son: Jerry Don Amis Jr., Paducah, KY; sister: Doris Fletcher, Benton, KY; brother: Charles Amis, Calvert City, KY; and 1 grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brother: James "Bubby" Amis.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
