James R. Wyatt, age 75, of Benton, KY, died Sunday, February 24, 2013, at his residence in Benton, KY. .He was retired from the United Sates Air Force, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp & worked at U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers where he was a Operator for KY Lock & Dam.

He is the son of the late George Jackson Wyatt and Edra Pearl (Edgel) Wyatt.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley J. (Ross) Wyatt; one son, Mark Stephen Wyatt of Knoxville, TN..; daughter, Melissa Jean Evans of Benton, KY; brothers, Bill Wyatt of Stanton, MI & Gene Wyatt of Newberg, IN. and 3 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Wyatt, ; brothers, Charles Wyatt, Jack Wyatt, Buck Wyatt and John Wyatt and sister, Mary Stewart.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where family will receive friends on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00pm

Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on February 26, 2013 at the Collier Funeral Chapel. Officiateing will be Gary Byers & Gene Gilliland. Burial will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens.
