Mr. Ray Parker, age 58 of Hardin, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at 1:50 P.M. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Born Friday, March 5, 1954 in Murray, Kentucky, he had worked for Continental General Tire in Mayfield for 32 years and was presently employed with Briggs and Stratton in Murray, KY.
He was the son of the late Charles M. Parker and Janet (Scoggins) Harrison of Hardin, KY.
Also surviving are one daughter, Christina Kirk, husband Gene of Greenwood, IN, one brother, Kerry W. Parker of Hardin, KY., his step mother, Pauline Parker of Benton, KY., two step-brothers, Barry Harrison and Steven Harrison both of Hardin, KY., one half-brother, Clayton Parker of Benton, KY., two step-sisters, Kathy Harrison of Hardin, KY., and Rita Henson of Almo, KY., two half-sisters, Sharon Wynn of Benton, KY., and Jo Humphrey of Reidland, KY.,
One grandson, Jeffrey J. Kirk of Greenwood, IN also survives.
He was preceded in death by his father, his step-father, James Harrison, and one half-sister, Patricia Stockhaus.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Barnett Cemetery in Hardin with the Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Interment is to follow the service.
No public visitation is scheduled.
Friends may call at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Barnett Cemetery, Barnett Cemetery Lane., Hardin, KY.
